Let Real People With Real Experience Draft The Laws

We envision a “Dream Team” of accomplished, thoughtful individuals from all walks of like with real world experience bound by a common purpose to solve problems.

Overview: The Ballot Petition Process

Imagine a Congress made up of a matrix of people from all parts of the economy and experience crossed with people from all demographics. They all have an attitude to solve problems with teamwork to deliver results. Fewer lawyers, more practical knowledge.

To illustrate, consider the hypothetical matrix on the left.

In Conclusion

The advantages of this are a greater diversity in Congress along demographic lines and on real-world experience lines. We have a case of diversity and inclusion, but also based on merit, not a sense of entitlement.

We recognize that there are many accomplished representatives and senators from both parties in Congress, but it is quite clear that the two parties need to vet many of their candidates to assure they have better skills in critical thinking and teamwork.

We seek to end inanity and grandstanding in Congress by having vetted our candidates – not to screen out or censor ideas – but to weed out those with traits that run against getting things done effectively.

The goal: People come to Washington, get stuff done, and go home and/or move on.
